Born in Hobița, Gorj county, my illustrious relative grew from the roots of a large and humble family, in the deep rhythms of rural Romania, where family was not only of blood, but of adoption and of spirit—bonds experienced as indissoluble.
The sacred landscape of Gorj, its untamed forests, and its mystical silence left a lasting imprint upon his art. For those of us who descend from this land, the connection to Hobița is not merely ancestral—it is spiritual, eternal.
The Brâncuși Family endures and will endure, as guardian of the memory and the roots of the Titan of Hobița.
Yet while his genius was born within the family, it surpasses lineage and addresses humanity entire. His work carries an exceptional universal value: a spiritual geometry that bridges Romanian traditions with the wisdom of the ancient civilizations.
